 About the Speaker

As Publisher and Chief Executive Officer, Phillip Crawley oversees the strategy and operations of The Globe and Mail newspaper, websites including globeandmail.com, reportonbusiness.com, globeinvestor.com, and globefund.com, and magazines including Report on Business, Globe Investor and Report on Small Business.

Since joining the organization in 1998, Crawley has guided The Globe and Mail through intense newspaper competition, led it to highly successful leadership in new media and online products, and achieved strong results in readership performance and advertising revenue, while maintaining high standards for editorial and production quality.

Prior to joining The Globe and Mail, he served in a variety of senior executive positions with some of the world's leading newspaper and media companies.
