Whack 'n' Hack Chamber Golf School and Fun Day
This is a great alternative for the new or non-golfer. A two hour clinic beginning at 12 NOON will take place at the Canadian Golf Academy, adjcent to the Fox Meadow Golf and Country Club.
There are still spots open for the golf school. Registration is limited to the first 6 teams, first come, first serve.

With today's economy-talk gradually becoming more focused on the reach and the depth of the weakness south of the border, and the outlook for non-US markets also fading, Canada's export prospects have dimmed. Indeed, the most recent data point to a substantial weakening of the export sector. Like a hard-fought chess game, the Canadian economy has made fancy moves in adverse conditions, and stayed out of trouble. But suddenly we're in check. Now what?

Charlottetown Area Chamber of Commerce views Budget as Balancing Act
The Greater Charlottetown Area Chamber of Commerce recognizes that demands from health care, education and aging infrastructure have required increased expenditure, putting tremendous pressure on budgetary considerations and creating a real challenge for government. Nevertheless, the Chamber is concerned about the continued deficit, and although it has been reduced from a forecast of $42.3 million to $34.9 million, the Chamber advocates that a return to a balanced budget be made a priority....Full Story
