Since ScreenScape is an Internet-based business, our focus has been marketing our online service elsewhere. By joining the Chamber we were able to network with the local community and create awareness right here at home. Recognition

SwiftRadius was honoured to receive the Emerging Business Award from the Greater Charlottetown Area Chamber of Commerce  in 2008.

Advocacy

The Chamber serves as the “voice of business”.  This year the Chamber was very active on the issue of the high costs of credit and debit card transactions which impacts many members. The Chamber also spoke out against tax inclusive pricing which would have presented real challenges  for Island retailers.

Mentoring

I feel very thankful to be matched through the Chamber Mentorship Program with Cam Beck.  We meet about one or two times a month for an hour.  His business experience is exactly what I needed to keep me focused and determined to work hard and be constantly open to business ideas.
