Confederation Bridge

The 12.9 Km Confederation Bridge between PEI and New Brunswick was completed in May 1997. It is 56Km from the capital city of PEI, Charlottetown, 116 Km from Moncton, New Brunswick. The bridge crossing usually takes 10-15 minutes. Toll will be collected only when you leave the Island.

Northumberland Ferry

The ferry departs from Caribou, Nova Scotia and Wood Island, PEI every hour and a half during the peak season. The trip takes 75 minutes, and the ferry fee is charged only when you leave the Island.
