Kathy Hambly, Executive Director of the Greater Charlottetown and Area Chamber of Commerce recently tendered her resignation to pursue a new career opportunity.Under Kathy’s leadership the Chamber has been transformed and the Board of Directors is truly sorry to be losing her. However, we are excited by Kathy’s new opportunity and wish her the best of success in her new role.
The Board of Directors has commenced a recruitment process and is optimistic about the search for Kathy’s replacement. Kathy will continue in her role with us until mid-March and assist in the transition to the new Executive Director. Click here to view the advertisement for the position.

The Board of Directors of the Greater Charlottetown Area Chamber of Commerce met recently with Deputy Minister Suzanne Tining and Charlotte Stewart, Director General, Service Delivery and Program Management, for Veterans Affairs Canada to gain a better understanding of the impacts of proposed reductions in the budget of the Federal Department of Veterans Affairs.
The Chamber was pleased to host a reception for the Honourable Bernard Valcourt, Minister of State for the Atlantic Canada Opportunities Agency, during his visit to PEI last week.
